ingrecheck ("the app", package com.ecodechecker.app) is an offline food-additive
(E-code) lookup app. This policy explains what data is collected when you use it.
ingrecheck has no user accounts, no sign-in, and no server. All E-code and ingredient data is bundled with the app and works fully offline. We do not collect, transmit, or store any personal data, search history, or usage data on our own servers, because we don't operate any.
The app shows ads via Google AdMob. To serve and measure ads, Google AdMob's SDK may collect:
This data is collected and processed by Google, not by us. See Google's own policy for details: policies.google.com/privacy. You can opt out of personalized ads via your device's ad settings (Android: Settings → Google → Ads → Opt out of Ads Personalization).
The app may request storage-related permissions used only for local app functionality (such as caching), not for reading or transmitting your personal files.
ingrecheck is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from them.
If this policy changes, the effective date above will be updated. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated policy.
